Peter & Lori Conway of Conway Arabians

Peter and Lori Conway founded Conway Arabians more than 25 years ago. Together, they have bred, raised, and trained hundreds of quality Arabian and Half-Arabian horses, dedicating their lives to the advancement of the breed. Lori is a highly respected Arabian judge with over 40 years of experience, and Peter serves as President of the Arabian English Pleasure Association. What truly sets Peter and Lori apart is their generosity, their heart for giving back, and their commitment to uplifting others. Recently named Arabian Breeders of the Year, they welcome countless visitors to their farm and organize numerous events each month to introduce horses to the public. They continually invest their knowledge, resources, and time into mentoring others in the industry. MHSEA is proud to honor Peter and Lori Conway as true horsemen. Their excellence, generosity, and devotion represent the very best of the horse world.

Tom Tweeten

Our late board member, Tom Tweeten, made significant contributions to MHSEA, the Minnesota Horse Council, and many other equine organizations. He firmly believed that volunteerism is vital to the strength and future of our industry, and we are proud to honor his legacy in this way. Tom had a special way of blending his passions with purpose. In 1996, he combined his lifelong love of horses with his background in chemistry to found ATH Science, a company dedicated to creating quality horse grooming products. He was always generous with his time, volunteering with the Minnesota Horse Council and the Tri-State Horsemen’s Association among others, and giving back to the horse community he cared so deeply about.
